Who We Are

The Purple Bench Initiative is a patient-led nonprofit creating epilepsy-safe spaces through awareness, support, and advocacy. We work to ensure people living with epilepsy are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion—at school, at home, at work and in society.

At the PURPLE BENCH INITIATIVE, we are driven by a single goal: To empower, making a difference through awareness.  We champion inclusivity and productivity of people living with epilepsy as well as their care givers, that they are then able to achieve their full potential and be relevant contributors to our society.

To this end we disseminate information about epilepsy and provide a support system for individuals, families,  communities and institutions.
