People living with epilepsy and their families are confronted with social osctricism and out right discrimination due to misconceptions and a lack of awareness.
We strive to open the dialogue by building community and institutional awareness of the condition's challenges and benefits of overcoming them. This includes lobbying of government, Health Care Providers, Civil society organisations as well as the private sector, to support community programs and disability grants. These are vital in dispelling myths and creating epilepsy equiped institutions.
