In Masaka, Kyanamukaaka where PBI is based, Epilepsy Day 2024 and 2025 were celebrated in the Second week of February as a part of the week long activities to raise awareness about Epilepsy within the community. Community members provide support for the activity  by donating food and offering to cook for participants. Epilepsy day usually happens at the sub-county headquarters and is an open invite to the community leadership, Non Governmental Organisations providing care and support and more importantly people living with the condition and well wishers to come together to share their experiences and celebrate successes as well as to advocate patient access to epilepsy health care services available at the health centre.
